Obituary of Rita Marian Down

Down Passed away peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital on January 12, 2008; Rita Marian Down, in her 70th year. She will be deeply missed by her dear friend Jane Counter and family. Beloved 'Nanny' to Alice (Laurie), Ray, Raymond and Samantha Thorpe. Survived by her brother Raymond and Stewart and nieces and nephews in England. Rita was a retired medical secretary for 30 years at LHSC. Special thanks to Ed and CCTC staff at LHSC, Dr. C. Despard and staff. A funeral prayer service will be held at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street @ King Street on Friday evening January 25, 2008 at 8 o'clock. Visitation for one hour prior.
