Obituary of Sister Marie Angela Aubert

Sister Marie Angela Aubert (Maria-Angela) at the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph on Thursday January 17, 2008, Sister Marie Angela Aubert of the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London in her 84th year and her 60th year of religious life. Lovingly remembered by her brother Dolph and wife Jessie of Nelson, BC; Aunt Mrs. Mary Benesch of Victoria, BC; and cousin Dr. Robert Benesch of Kingston, ON and the Sisters of her religious community. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Telesphore Aubert and Helena (Benesch). Sister spent her years in ministry as an educator in Edmonton and London, as a bursar and secretary at St. Joseph's Hospital in Galahad, AB and Mount St. Joseph. Following her retirement, Sister worked in jail ministry in London, as well as tutoring students and writing biblical plays. Sister had a particular love for her friends at the Independent Living Centre and enjoyed outings with them. She is resting at the Sisters of St. Joseph residence, 485 Windermere Road on Saturday, January 19 after 2:00 p.m. A Vigil Service at the Sisters of St. Joseph on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated in the St. Joseph Chapel of the Sisters of St. Joseph on Sunday January 20 at 7:00 p.m. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery on Monday January 21 departing from 485 Windermere Road at 9:30 a.m. John T.
