Beccarea, John H. After a tough battle with cancer on Thursday, December 12, 2013 John H. Beccarea in his 78th year. Much loved father of Cathie Beccarea. Predeceased by his loyal companion Bubba who he loved with all his heart. Loving grandfather of Danielle (nee Flannery) Vandendries (Leo) and Lisa Flannery (Ian). Proud GG to Desiree, Lacey and Cash. Dear stepfather of Ray Stewart. Loving BFF of Diane Barany. John was known for his passion of photography, flying, infinite love for dogs, distinctive personality and loving ways. John enjoyed travelling the world, meeting new people and always came back with fascinating tales from his journeys. John enjoyed a great political debate, Sunday afternoon football and for those that knew John he was a self proclaimed handyman. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, December 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal charity of your choice would be appreciated.
