Obituary of Margaret McPhillips

McPhillips, Margaret Margaret died on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 her 80th birthday after happily celebrating with her closest Havergal School friends and family. She died peacefully but suddenly in Toronto with her children by her side. She is predeceased by her husbands Douglas Hall and Bill McPhillips and is survived by her daughter Robin Young (David), her son Chris (Mimi) and her six adored grandchildren, Robin and Charlotte Hall, David, Sophie, Michael and Andrew Young. Aside from her family, she will miss most her four legged dependents, Benji and Oliver, her garden, her beloved home of 50 years and Holt Renfrew. Margaret was a beautiful, gentle lady who valued privacy and lived her life with a strong sense of survival. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday December 6th from 3 - 6 o'clock. A private funeral service and interment in St. Peter's Cemetery will be held at a later date.
