After a brief illness at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, Rita Freeman at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Frank Freeman. Loving mother of Yolanda Owsienko and the late Anthony Verbeek (1992). Dear Oma of Christopher, Nicholas and Jonathon. Dear sister of Joyce Haakman, Laurens Buren (Pat), Dora Smeets (Lambert), Margaret Verhoeven (Edward deceased), Trudy Lenssen (Louis deceased) and Peter Buren (Irene). Predeceased by her siblings Ida Schreurs (John) and Cays Buren. Dear sister-in-law of Marlies Buren, Robert Freeman, Marilyn Reese and David Freeman (Mary Anne). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Thursday, December 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road, West on Friday, December 16th at 11 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the London Regional Cancer Program C/O London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated.
