Obituary of Emilio Faccia

Faccia Emilio's life can be best summarized by two words, 'his family'. His love for his family had no bounds. He worked two jobs, took meals to a relative daily for many years, and fed anyone that needed it with no expectations of anything in return. He was born in Assergi, Italy on May 9, 1915. He is the last of his brothers and sisters to be reborn into God's arms. Although his loving wife, Elena Faccia predeceased him on September 12, 2006; they were never apart. Their souls and minds were, and always will be, together. In Italy he was employed as an OR nurse where he met Elena. They immigrated to London in 1959. Here he was employed as a cook at Vito's and later at Tony's restaurant. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and Barb of Franklin, TN; granddaughters Kate of Calgary, AB and Jill of Nashville, TN. and great granddaughter Hannah of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by a large extended family. The Faccia family would like to express a special thank you to Sonia and Freda for their compassionate and loving care. Their extraordinary care will not be forgotten. The spirit of Emilio Faccia will live on in the hearts of all who were priviledged and honored to know him. Friends will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. at King St. on Sunday from 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 345 Lyle St. at York St. on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 11:00 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
