Obituary of John Terence Rourke

ROURKE after a brief battle with cancer. Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday May 13, 2007, surrounded by his family. John Terence Rourke, beloved husband of Carol (nee Manson) in his 76th year. Dear cherished Father of John (Deborah), Cathy (Len), Kevin, Susan, Mary (Jeff). Dear Grandfather of 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Dear brother of Pat (Alanna), Janet Schwob, Brian (Evelyn), John (Dianne). Brother-in-law of Mary Lou (nee Sills), and John and Marie Manson. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elinor (nee Wilson) and brother Charles. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. (at King St.) London on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 515 Cheapside St. on Wednesday May 16, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program at London Health Science Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
