Obituary of Rita Mary Gooding

GOODING, Rita Mary Passed away in her 89th year on November 21,2008. Born June 25th, 1920. Devoted mother of Mary Catherine Janssen ( Fred ), John Gooding (Nancy), Angela Love, and Paul Gooding (deceased); proud grandmother of Shauna and Megan Janssen, Connor and Taylor Love, and dear great grandmother of Ezra Janssen. Dear sister of Anne Hatton (Al,deceased), Don McRae (Eileen), and Ken MacRae (Mary, both deceased). Rita will be remembered with fondness by many nieces and nephews, also. As well as living her life as an exemplary mother, Rita had a long successful career as graduate nurse and enjoyed many well-deserved retirement years. Visitors will be at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, Dufferin Avenue at Richmond Street, on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Prayers Monday evening at 6 o'clock. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be appreciated.
