Obituary of Karel Udovic

KAREL UDOVIC November 4, 1924 - October 28, 2006 Surrounded by loving family, peacefully he passed away into the Lord's hands, after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Frances, cherished father of Marica Neilands (Leonard) and Frank Udovic (Giavana). Loving grandfather to Steph, Angela, Christopher and Shaun. One of 13 children born in Slovenia, he is survived by Maria Fidel of Winnipeg, Draga (Vera), Ludvig (Paula) and Joe of Cleveland, Danica of Australia and Milka of Slovenia. Fondly remembered by Tony Mikuletic (BC) and Meri Sedmak (Australia). Missed by many nieces and nephews on 3 continents and friends in London and Toronto. A kind and loving man with a warm smile, a joke or story, he loved to sing, dance (polka) and play accordian. He was staff at U.W.O. Vistitation will be held at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock with Prayers at 8 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. George's Church 1164 Commissioners Rd., W., on Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations may be made to the St. George's Church Building Fund or Hear and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
