Obituary of Mario Carducci

Carducci, Mario Italo It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, son and brother Mario Italo Carducci in his 71st year, on Friday October 4, 2013. He fought a valiant battle with congestive heart disease and now is at peace. He leaves behind his wife Luisa, children Margherita (Graham), Daniele (Maria) and his grandchildren Tatiana, Molly, Isaiah and Cristian. Mario will be sorely missed by his father and mother in law Loreto and Rosina Rossi, his brother Arduino (Elena) Carducci, his sister Teresa and his brothers and sisters-in-law Joe and Onelia Rossi, Angelo and Heather Rossi and Nino and Felicia Monaco and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Francesco (1996) and Margherita (1992), his brother Pasqualino (1987), sister-in-law Antonietta (1999). Mario cherished his last days conversing with all his family and friends and was at peace in his final days. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at University Hospital team 3 medicine and palliative care. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Sunday, October 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, London on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Donations in memory of Mario may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund.
