Joseph Paul Matyas (Senior) of London, formerly of Toronto and Hamilton, in his 81st year. Dear husband of June Margaret
(Searles) for 60 years; father of Joseph
(Susan Eagle); Julianna; Teresa (Paul Gendron); Irene (Steve Penny); Ann. Predeceased by his parents Josef (1960) and Julia (1972), and his sister Mary Dearn (1942). Survived by his nine grandchildren Tanya, Marcus and Thomas Matyas; Thor, Brad and Adam Hervieux; Danielle, Nicole and Colette Suzanne (Gendron); and eleven nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, dedicated 24 year employee (retired 1985) of Stelco Swansee Works, Toronto ( Genfast).Relatives and friends may be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 12, 2006 at St. John the Divine Parish, 390 Baseline Rd., W., London at 10 o'clock.
Interment in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery
Plains Road, Aldershot, Ontario at 2:30.

Parish Building Fund or St. Elizabeth Health Care, London. June and family are very appreciative of the care and support provided to Joe during his illness. Special than you to Dr. Cavanagh, the team of dedicated nurses, support workers and professionals of St. Elizabeth Health Care, London and the Palliative Care Team at Parkwood Hospital.
