Helene Matilda Dias January 20th, 1922 - July 19th, 2006 Helene Matilda Dias (nee Martins), died peacefully at Mount Hope Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, July 19th, 2006, loving wife of Walter Dias for 63 years, devoted and proud mother of; Wendy (the late Leonard) Mascarenhas, Christopher (Ray) Dias, Rick (Rosalie) Dias, Mark (Lorraine) Dias, and Mary Ann (Bruce) Burbank. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Sandra), Michael (Jennifer), Kathy (Ark), Jane (Derek), Jonathan, Nicholas, Matthew, Erin, Sarah, Isaac, Jesse, Rachael, Andreas and Jacob. Beloved great-grandmother of Alisha, Danielle, Ryan, Julia, Benjamin, and Samuel. Dear sister of Bridget Correa of Brampton, Jack Martins of the U.K. and John Martins of the U.K. Predeceased by her sisters Julie Braganza and Augustina Konze. She will be fondly remembered for her steadfast faith, her fine culinary skills, and the many kindergarten students she taught over the years with the Catholic School Board. Friends will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, July 23rd 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish (St. Pius X), 777 Valetta Street on Monday afternoon, July 24th at 1:30 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
