Obituary of Ellen Lauretta Hawkins

Hawkins Ellen L. Hawkins began her journey through life on August 18,1928, in London, Ontario. Her earthly journey ended peacefully on Wednesday February 9, 2005. Ellen is deeply loved by her husband John; children Michael, Laura, James, Stephen, Lesley, Gary, Mary and Lynn; grandchildren Melinda, Christopher, Nathaniel, Jessica, Brian, Colin, Gregory, Kady, Haly, and many friends. In Ellen's words "Everyone was put here for a purpose, so let that purpose rise up above and show everyone what you are made of. Celebrate the special person you are--with my love from Ellen." Our celebration of Ellen's life will take place on Friday February 11, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at St. George's Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London. The family will be greeting friends at 1:30 at the Church prior to the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers donations to, Sleeping Children Around the World, 28 Pinehurst, Islington, ON, M9A 3A5, would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
