Obituary of Filippo Palombo

Palombo Filippo Palombo at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, December 29, 2004, in his 91 st year. Loving husband and best friend of Michela Palombo. Filippo came to Canada in the late 1950's from Italy, was an Italian Army veteran of WW II, was a member of the Combattenti, an active member of St. Mary's Parish and was very devoted to his wife Michela and his extended family. Predeceased by his brothers John and his wife Maria, Marino and his wife Angela and Antonio and his wife Benedetta. Dear brother in law of the late Erminia Cuozzo and her late husband Pietro, the late Antonio DiCicco, the late Marta DiCicco and her late husband Fortunato, Filippa LaMarra and her husband Antonio and Loreta Pacitto and her late husband Alessandro. Dear uncle of Angela DiCicco and her late husband Joseph, Sandra Vella and her husband Fred, Pasquale Palombo and his wife Vilma and Frank Palombo and his wife Silvana. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 8:30 o'clock.
