Obituary of Kathrine Mary Bendzsa

Kathrine Bendzsa, born August 11, 1915, passed away August 22 at University Hospital, London at the age of 98. Kathrine lived a long and prosperous life from her birth in Nitra, Slovakia, to her years spent with her late husband Paul in Sarnia and London. Over her lifetime she was a small business owner, an avid gardener, a cook, a woman with energy, drive and a mischievous twinkle in her eye. She loved her family fiercely and will be missed by her daughter Marion and sons Paul (Lisa) and Joseph. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cathy, Troy, Paul, Mark (Tina), Lisa, Oliver (Carrie), Matthew, Nicholas; and great grandchildren Kyle, Noah, Liam, Connor, Caitlin. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, London, on Monday, August 26 at 10:30a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to John T. Donohue Funeral Home.
