Obituary of Adelaide Jane Blake

BLAKE At Mount Hope on Sunday, October 24, 2004, Adelaide Jane Blake (nee Fowler), in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Hedley (Bill) Blake (1986). Dear mother of William (Terry) and his wife Patricia and Jane McCarthy both of London. Loving grandmother of Theresa (Tim) Bradley, Kelly (Ron) DeCaluwe, Arianne McCarthy (Scott Sutherland) all of London, Gillian Ivison (Robert) of Los Angeles and Joseph McCarthy of London. Great-grandmother to April Hawke, Nicole and Christian DeCaluwe and Patrick and Ben Bradley. Dear sister of Walter Fowler and sister-in-law of Evelyn Fowler, both of London, Margaret Blake of New Hamburg and Ronald and Mary Blake of St. Mary's. Predeceased by her son-in-law John McCarthy (2000), sisters Kathleen Smith, Lenore Spicer and Madge Costello and brothers Gregory, Jack, Tom and Bill Fowler. Aunt Ad will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 89 Charles Street, on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. Donations to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation ( Mount Hope ) would be appreciated.
