Obituary of John Leo Bertoia

Bertoia Peacefully after a courageous battle with his family by his side in London, on Friday, August 20, 2004, John Leo Bertoia of London in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Patricia. Proud father of Kevin, Chris, Michael, Tom (Pat) and Susan (Mark). Survived by six grandchildren. Dear brother of Roger (Ruth) of Vancouver, B.C., Frank (Christine) of Cranbrook, B.C., and Jerry of Cranbrook, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Douglas and Ray. Fondly remembered by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Bell Canada Pioneer (1955-1986). The family will receive family and friends at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. George's Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock , Fr. Robert Rocheleau of St. John the Divine Church celebrant. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
