Obituary of Arsene Goossens

GOOSSENS Arsene Juliaan (Archie). Peacefully at his residence on Sunday, August 15, 2004, in his 68th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Barb " Beppie" (nee Timmerman) Goossens of 43 years. Loving father of Anita (John) of Thorndale, Ron (Paula) of Jasper, Alberta and Jeff (Alisha) of London. Proud Opa of 4 grandsons: Matthew, Robert, Marcus and Luke. Predeceased by his son Ronnie (1964). Survived by his brothers and sisters Roger and Mary Goossens, Magda and Casey Schoenmakers, Imelda Van Dam and her late husband Frank, Helen and Bill Buchkowski and Ivan Goossens. The family will receive relatives and friends at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. George's Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Rd. W., on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. Memorial donations to the Leukemia Research Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
