Litchfield, Earl suddenly at Victoria Hospital, London, ON, Sunday March 5, 2006. Earl will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Hilda and family. Much loved father of Anne Czapski (Rick) of Calgary, AB, Sandra Callaghan (Dave) of Simcoe, ON, and Gerald of New Hamburg, ON. Grandfather of Elizabeth and Christine Czapski; Matthew, James and Anna Callaghan. Survived by his dear sister, Sr Edna Litchfield of Pierrefonds, QC., and many nieces and nephews in Quebec and Ontario. Earl was an avid bird watcher and was very active in ornithological societies and educational activities. He love to entertain people, and children especially loved his ventriloquism shows. Earl's sense of humour, his outgoing personality and willingness to always lend a helping hand made him well known in his community. He was an active supporter in his church throughout his lifetime. The family express many thanks to the attending doctors, nurses and support staff who provided compassionate care for Earl in the last few months. Friends and relatives are welcome to share memories on Tuesday March 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, ON. Funeral Mass at St. John the Divine Catholic Church, 390 Baseline Road W., London, ON, on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Private interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Memorial donations to St. John the Divine Building Fund or a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
