Obituary of Donald Gerald Allaster

Allaster Peacefully at home, on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 Rev. Donald Gerald Allaster in his 81st year, retired priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of London. Son of the late Harold and Ruth Allaster. Dear brother of Kingsley Allaster and his wife Donna of London, George Allaster and his wife Gail of Clearwater, Florida. Predeceased by his brother Harold Allaster. Fr. Allaster was the former pastor of St. Benedicts Parish in Sarnia and also served in many other parishes throughout the diocese. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7- 9 o'clock, He will lie in state at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Friday morning from 9 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock with Most Rev. Ronald Fabbro celebrant. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
