On Monday January 26th, 2009, in his 91st year, at L.H.S.C. University Hospital, London, ON. Surrounded by his sweetheart and loving wife of over 65 years, Margaret Anne, and his adoring children Ross Andrew (Kathy) of Sarnia, Elizabeth Anne (Peter) of Barrie, Margaret Rose of Ottawa, Robert Audley (Heidi) of London and Donald John (Tina) of Woodbury, MN. Deeply missed and fondly
remembered by his grandchildren Rosalind, Patricia, Kevin, Shawn, Paul, Anna and Alison, and his great-grandchildren Rachel, Brett, Garnet, Daniel, Alexis, Tristan, Anikin, and Addison. Ross was born in Aylmer, ON., and was predeceased by his siblings, Alda, Audley, George, Grey and Jim. In 1975 he retired after 35 years with the Canadian National Railway. His most favoured activities
included cottaging at Otter Lake and playing his piano. Visitors will be received at John T.
Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, ON., on Thursday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Friday morning from 11-12 noon where the funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ross are asked to consider the McCormick Home Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Sincere gratitude to the caring staff of the 7th floor neurology unit at University Hospital, and to our extended McCormick Home family. He was a fine gentleman. His dignity and quiet strength remain an inspiration to all who knew him.
