Obituary of Germaine Duchesne

DUCHESNE It is with regret the family of Germaine Duchesne announce her passing in her 100th year. Germaine lived most of her life in Quebec joining her eldest daughter in London in 1985 after the passing of her husband. Germaine is survived by her children; daughters Jeanette (the late Maurice), Claire and Gaston Pratte, Marlene and Jean-Claude Dufresne, and son Gerard and Darquise Duchesne. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as many neices and nephews. Other surviving members include son-in-law Roger Cote and daughter-in-law Diane Duchesne. Germaine was predeceased by daughters Jacqueline and Therese and son Maurice. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday September 10, 2008 at St. Justin's Catholic Church 855 Jalna Blvd. at 11:00 a.m. under the auspices of Father Dan Vere. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Helen Foster Memorial Foundation, 1009 Jalna Blvd. London, ON N6E 2R2 would be greatly appreciated. Better burses make better health care. John T.
