Carpenter We sadly announce the passing of Ruth on September 30, 2002, lovingly surrounded by her family, throughout her bravely fought illness. Predeceased by her loving husband, James Stephen Carpenter and her parents, Stephen and Helen Moore. Cherished mother of Helen and Kent, John and Margo, Mary and Bob, Peter and Karin, Paul, Tom, Howard and Denise, Patty, Jim and Jacquie. Proud and loving grandmother of 24 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters: Lesley, Stephanie, Jennifer, Erin, Emily, Justin, Thirza, Thea, Chloe, Sevanne, Shealynn, Kelly, and Vanessa, James, Amber, Ashley, Mallory, Evan, Jason, Shawn, Jeff, Gregg, Shaney, Patrick, Maria, Savanna and Madison. Beloved sister of Edythe and Bill Rutledge, Mary and the late Jack Hutchinson. Dear sister in law of Lillian and Ken, Donnie and Ruth, Norma, Phil and Colleen, Mary and Douglas, Bernie and Ria, Charles and Bev. Predeceased by John, Howard, Ann, and Granner and Howard. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Special friend to many. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Wednesday from 10-12 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1057 Oxford Street E., on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. The family would like to extend appreciation and thanks to Dr. Rajgopal, the team, the nursing and support staff of D5, Ciaran McKenna and the pastoral care team at St. Joseph's, for their expertise and loving care. Donations to the Humane Society or St. Joseph's Pastoral Care would be greatly appreciated.
