Obituary of Florence Therese Manners

Manners, Florence (nee Arnold) Florence, the beloved wife of Dr. Douglas Manners for 57 years, passed away peacefully from pneumonia at University Hospital, London on May 14, 2013 at the age of 83. She will be lovingly remembered always by her children Linda Toivanen and her husband John, Karen Hull and her husband Hodge, Lorraine Manners and Douglas and his wife Alenka. Dear Grandma of Meredith, Kaitlyn, Hayley and Megan. The youngest of seven children: Caye, Peggy, Bill, Mary, the late Eleanor and the late John. Aunt Florence had many nephews and nieces, all who remember her fondly. Thank you to her dear caregiver Beth Strickland and St. Mary's Mount Hope. Family and friends will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, London on Monday morning at 11:30 with a reception in the church hall to follow. Private family interment St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Hospitality Centre or St. Michael's Church would be appreciated.
