Obituary of Antonio Furtado Serpa

SERPA Peacefully, after a very long struggle with ill health at Dearness Home on Friday, April 19, 2002, Antonio ( Tony ) Furtado, loving husband of Helen ( Johnson ) Serpa, in his 70th year. Caring father of Anthony of Los Angeles, California. Dear father to Rob Johnson and godfather of Shauna Howard both of London. Dear brother of Manuel and his wife Teresa, Joe and his wife Maria Lourdes, Antonieta and Duartino and his wife Maria Lidia. Brother to Tiberio and his wife Alzira. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Manuel. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Wednesday morning from 9 o'clock until 10:30 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm Street on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Head Injury Association. A tree has been planted in memory of Tony. *Please place in Monday's edtion.
