Obituary of Philip Vincent Arnsby

ARNSBY, Philip Vincent- Sadly at age 77 on April 17, 2013 surrounded by his family, Phil passed away after complications from a heart attack suffered while playing tennis. Loving husband of Elaine. Beloved father of Teresa Arnsby-Weaver (Doug), Brian Arnsby, predeceased daughter Angela (March 17, 2013) and Sarah Fairclough. Step-father of Megan Whiteside (Ian) and Cole Machon. Father-in-law of Kalon Fairclough. Proud grandfather to Elizabeth Birchall, Abigail Arnsby and Lachlan Fairclough. Dear brother of Jerry (Lois), Michael (Evelyn) and brother-in-law of Rose Marie Pistor (Peter). Predeceased by his loving wife of 35 years Barbara (nee Williams) (1995) and by his brother Peter (1971). Remembered by his extended family and many friends. The family wishes to thank those who were first at the scene to offer immeasurable care including the London Police Service, E.M.S., caring members of the public, and medical staff of I.C.U. at University Hospital who allowed us to have a few more days with our husband, father and grandfather. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street on Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 8:45 p.m. Donations may be made to the London Area Right to Life Association.
