Obituary of Ferdinando Benjamino Manzara
MANZARA
On Friday, December 7, 2001 Fred
( Ferdinando ) Manzara, passed on to God
after a sudden and traumatic illness. Predeceased by his mother Mary ( Combs )
Manzara. Tenderly remembered and loved by his father Lorne ( Loreto ), his siblings Loretta Manzara, C.S.J., Michael and Rita Manzara, Marion Glover, Joe and Lori Manzara, Teresa and Allan Mitchell. Fred will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Michelle Cote, Nathan Manzara and Tabitha matthews, Jordon Manzara, Karie Lynn Glover and Lance Wood, Lindsay and Matthew Glover, Anne Marie and Rob Noble, Jeff and Kristen Manzara, Amanda Mitchell and Andrew
Wood. Fred also enjoyed the support and friendship of his employer and co-workers at
Pryde Industrial, his bowling league and long-time friends from the former London Arena
Roller Hockey Team ( Ted Dilts sponsored ).
Visitation at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on
Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. The Vigil Service on Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Visitation at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street at Duchess Avenue on Monday morning from 11 o'clock until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations may be made in Fred's memory to the Epilepsy Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Marfan
Society or the St. Martin of Tours Parish Decorating Fund. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Intensive Care Unit of L.H.S.C. Victoria Campus and St. Joseph's Hospital
and to the many aunts, uncles, friends and neighbours who have offered support.
