Obituary of Anthony Siroen

Siroen, Anthony Martin Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 Anthony Martin Siroen in his 80th year. Loving husband of Corrie Siroen. Proud father of Marion (George) Vanhie, Gary (Donna) Siroen, Joanne (Doug) Latta, Connie (Tony) Straatman and Anthony Jr. (Kim) Siroen. Dear brother of Mary VanBree, Trudy (Bill) Rovers, Josie (Arnold) VanMoorsel, Nellie (Tony) Verwaayen, Joanne (Theo) Verwaayen, and Gerry (Lieva) Siroen and brother in law of Joanne Siroen and Wilhelmien (Evan) Wardell. Forever missed by 19 wonderful grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Gerald Siroen, brothers Gerry, Martin and Arnold Siroen and brother in law Tony VanBree. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, April 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, on Tuesday morning, April 2nd at 10:30 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. A Lions Club Memorial Service will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Prayers Monday evening at 7 o'clock. In lieu of flowers donations to the Thorndale Lions Medical Centre Trust or St. Andrew the Apostle Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff on 7th floor at University Hospital for their compassionate care given to Tony and our family.
