Obituary of Ian David Ward

Ward Ian David died suddenly on Christmas Day in Thunder Bay, Ontario, December 25, 2000 in his 40th year. Beloved husband of Susan Payne. Proud and loving father of Joshua Owen. Loving son of Bud and Margaret Ward of London. Loved son in law of George and Lynda Payne of Bayfield. Dear brother in law of Elizabeth Payne of Winnipeg. Dearly loved brother of Susan Leslie (David) of Toronto, Cathy Hautanen (Leonard) of Thunder Bay, Linda Doerkson (Gary) of London, Fred Ward (Janis) of London, and Mary Ellen Schweiger (Tom) of Innisbruck, Austria. Rememberd by his many nieces and nephews Daniel (Janey) and Roger Leslie, Lindsay, Arthur and Jennifer Hautanen, Christopher and Kelly Spencer, Ambre, Ashli, and Luke Doerkson, Chelsea and Bradley Ward ,and Nicole Schweiger. Ian will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the Children of Ian Ward Trust Fund c/o the Westfort Chapel or John T. Donohue Funeral Home. Many people will benefit from Ian's gift of life through the Multiple Organ Exchange Program of Ontario. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2000 at 2:30 pm in Redwood Park Alliance Church, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Visitation for friends will be after 6:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2000 in the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James St., Thunder Bay. A service will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St at King St., London on Tuesday January 2, 2001 at 1 o'clock. (Visiting 1 hour prior). Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Daddy, we will miss you watching us grow. We know that you are in Heaven and that you will give us strength to grow. We will all be together some day.
