Obituary of Elisabetta Buragina

BURAGINA At St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, June 11, 2000, after a courageous battle, Elisabetta ( Trovato ) has gone to walk with God, in her 69th year. Wife of the late Giuseppe Buragina ( 1991 ). Dear mother of Tony Buragina and his wife Mary Grace, Melina Michienzi and her husband Nicola, Sam Buragina and his wife Meleny and Maria Buragina. Loving grand- mother of Lisa Marie, Nicoletta and Francesco; Merisa and Mirela; and Daniela. Dear sister of Assunta Persano and her husband Michele (London), Giovanna Curcio and her husband Domenico, Vittorio Trovato and his wife Lina ( Italy ). Also survived by her sister and brother-in-laws Elisabetta and Tito Cannata, Elia ( Leo ) and Amalia Buragaina, Frank and Shirley Buragina and Maria and Tony Giampa, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Maria and Sebastiano Trovato, her brothers Francesco Trovato, Giuseppe Trovato and his wife Maria ( Molinaro ). A special thank you to Dr. Devreaux and the caring staff in the I.C.U. at St. Joseph's Hospital for your guidance and support during Mom's brief stay. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday and Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
