Obituary of Percy Clifton Green

GREEN, Percy Clifton Peacefully passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 to be with his beloved wife Phyllis (nee Thorne) Green (2010). Loving father of Bonnie Lee (Bill) and Sue Pellow (John). Proud and devoted grandfather of Brian (Sharon) Lee, Julie Anne (Steve) Kennedy, John Lee, Jenna (Ryan) Dow, Krista Pellow, and great grandfather of Tyler, Brady and Campbell Lee, Isabel and Bailey Kennedy; and Jonna Lee and Trinity Pellow-Brooks. Predeceased by his parents Alberta and Percy Clifton Green and his sisters Dorothy McLeod, Margaret Green and Eileen Green. Cliff's kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity towards his family and friends will always be remembered. Cliff served his country bravely and courageously in the RCAF, Snowy Owl 420 Squadron during WWII and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Visitors will be received at St. George Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West on Friday morning November 25, 2011 from 10 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock.
