Obituary of Wilfred Gerrard Sandford

Please insert Knights of Columbus crest Sandford Peacefully and with his family by his side, Wilfred (Gil) Sandford of London, ON passed away on Monday, January 17, 2000 at St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved husband of Josephine L. (Joe) Sandford. Devoted father of Lorrie and Doug Tatum of Kincardine, ON, Jody and Ken Dodge, Bob and Barb Sandford and Paul Sandford, all of London. Proud grandfather of Paul, Matthew, Josh, Erin, Kevin, Ryan and Adam. Dear brother of Jim and Agnes Sandford and Hugh and Pat Sandford. Dear brother-in-law of Jim McAuliffe. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Gil was a well known hand jewellery engraver and a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1410. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 515 Cheapside Street, on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St.. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully acknowledged.
