Obituary of Peter James Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Peter James Passed away suddenly on November 20, 2011 at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital at the young age of 61. Beloved husband and soul mate of Charlene (nee Ward) for over 41 years. Devoted father and the rock to his children Elizabeth and her husband Ron Van Amelsvoort , Sheri and her husband Jim Storey, and Peter and his wife Jen Gallagher. Proud and loving Papa to Ryan, David, Brad, Greg, Hope, Delaney, Mackenzie, Gracelyn, Brooklyn, Ruby, Mary, Arone, Eric, Isabella (Elfabella), Peter (his little hockey player) and great grandfather of Tyson and Kolton. Predeceased by his loving father Peter Joseph. Survived by his best friend John Delaney and his many friends and family. Our 'Dr. Doolittle' will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin's Parish, 855 Jalna Boulevard on Friday morning November 25, 2011 at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
