Please insert the C.W.L. crest. Smith After a long and joyful life, Nora Agnes Smith (nee Thomas) passed away peacefully at the Avalon Care Centre in Orangeville ON., on November 11, 2007. Born in Herring Cove N.S., she was daughter to the late Theresa (nee Gray) and Charles Hugh Thomas; beloved wife of the late Frank Smith; and predeceased by siblings Margaret, Mary, Gordon, Gerald and Aubrey. Nora was the loved mother of Robert Smith of Campbellton N.B., Betty Starr and husband Mike of Alton ON.; Dear grandmother of Tig Starr and wife Tonya, James Starr and partner Brandi Sherman, Amanda Starr and husband Greg Rampley, Caroline (Smith) Rowe and husband Mark, Richard Smith and wife Rachel, Anna Smith and partner Jeremy Metallic; Great grandmother of Eric, Ian, Irelynd, Ella, Gregor, Caleb, Caidra and Catherine. Nora will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London ON., on Thursday November 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, Dufferin Avenue at Richmond Street, London ON., on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
