GARGARELLA, Rosa(nee Di Renzo) Passed away at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Saturday July 24, 2010 in her 91st year. Born March 29, 1920 in Treglio,. P. of Chiti, Italy. Predeceased by her husband Carmine Gargarella in Italy. Dear mother of Anthony Gargarella (predeceased), his wife Guiseppina in Toronto; Mario Gargarella and his wife Janny of London , and Franco Gargarella and his wife Barbara in Italy. Cherished grandmother of Carmine Gargarella and his wife Diane, John Gargarella and his wife Michelle, of London; Paul Gargarella and his wife Madellena, Rose Vescio and her husband Luigi, Katherine Pasqualino and her husband Enzo, of Toronto; and Carlo, Andrea and Davida Gargarella of Italy; and the late Massimo. Loving nonna of 10 great grandchildren Emily, Benjamin, Luke and Logan Gargarella of London; Julia and Anthony Gargarella, Laura and Luigi Vescio, and Rosie and Carlo Pasqualino all of Toronto. Dear sister of Maria Pasquini of London, Assunta Valentino of Montreal, Umberto Di renzo of Italy and predeceased by her brothers Domenic Di Monte, Angelo Di Renzo, and by her sisters Teresa Caravagio and Annina Marzolo. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews in London, Toronto and Italy. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. at King St. on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 345 Lyle St. at York St. on Thursday morning July 29, 2010 10:30 a.m. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. Prayers Wednesday at 3 o'clock. The family would like to thank the staff of the 6th floor paliative care unit at University Hospital.
