Obituary of Philip Henry Blyde

Blyde Peacefully at University Campus on Thursday, February 24th, 2005 Philip Henry, beloved husband of the late Ann (Hayes) Blyde, in his 78th year. Loving father of Jim Blyde of Thorndale, Barbara Ann Sweeney and her husband Vince of London, Pauline (Phylis) Anderson and her husband Richard of London, Dennis Blyde and his wife Janet of Middlemiss, John Blyde of London, Gordon Blyde of London and Georgeina Blyde of Dresden. Dear grandfather of 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marg, Teresa, Eleanor, Betty, Kevin, Tom and Eileen. Predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth Blyde, his brothers Bill, Cyril, Walter Jack, his twin brother George and his sister Mary. A special thank you to Ivana and staff at Versa Care Nursing Home and also to Debbie and 9th floor staff and doctors at University Hospital. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, where the funeral service will be held on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Parkwood Hospital Dementia Fund would be appreciated.
