Obituary of Marta Di Cicco

Di Cicco Marta (La Marra), Surrounded by her loving family at Parkwood Hospital on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, Marta Di Cicco in her 90th year. Loving Wife of 68 years of Rocco Di Cicco. Dear mother of Angelo (Filomena) and Antonio (Elena) Di Cicco of London. Proud Nonna of Tony (Maria), Rocco (Gabriella), Frank (Liliana), Marta (Joe) Viglianti, Roberto (Silvia) and Marco Di Cicco. Great-grandmother of Serena, Jordan, Sofia, Adrian, Samantha, Julia, Victoria, Alexa and Viviana. Dear sister of Antonio La Marra of London, Caterina Smithson and Alessandro (Ann) La Marra of England and cherished sister-in-law of Elisabetta La Marra of London. Marta is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law in Valleluce, Italy - Michele (Antonietta) Di Cicco, (Gino) Francesca Di Cicco, (Giovanni-Battista) Filippa Cuozzo. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Maria La Marra, her brother Benedetto La Marra, her father and mother-in-law, Giovanni Battista and Filippa Di Cicco, sisters-in-law Angela Palombo, Filippa La Marra and brothers-in-law Marino Palombo and Harry Smithson. Marta is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, United States, England and Italy. A special thank you to Dr. Frank Muia, Dr. Shadd, and the wonderful staff at Parkwood Hospital, Palliative Care and Cheshire Patient Support, CCAC and Revera staff. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Thursday, November 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street on Friday, November 30th at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
