Obituary of Barbara Jaskot

JASKOT, Barbara After a lengthy illness and surrounded by her loving daughters, Barbara passed away peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord at Marian Villa on November 17, 2011 in her 88th year. Beloved mother of Teresa Solima and Diane Jaskot. Cherished Bapsha of Shonna, Scott and Andrew and great grandmother of Maya, Elliott, Luca and Sienna. Dear aunt of Genia and also remembered by her extended family. A source of strength, her devotion to her family and true loveliness will be missed and forever cherished. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Marian Villa for their care and compassion and especially her personal caregivers Leona and Peggy for enabling her to stay in her home for as long as she could. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street on Tuesday morning November 22, 2011 at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 8 o'clock. In honour of her love of gardening and of nature, flowers are welcomed, or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
