Obituary of Saviour Ciantar

CIANTAR, Saviour- Passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2012 at L.H.S.C. University Hospital with his family at his side, Sam Ciantar in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Agnes for nearly 70 years. Loving father of Elsa Zammit, Jean Hayes, Susan Tomlin and her husband Mike and the late John Ciantar. Father-in-law of Wanda Ciantar. Devoted Grandpa, Nannu and fishing buddy to his 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Emmanuel Ciantar. Remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. Sam was an employee of General Motors for nearly 30 years. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street on Wednesday morning, October 3, 2012 at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 3:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
