Oates, Daisy Peacefully with family by her side at Mt. Hope Centre for Long-Term Care on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 Daisy (Oldfield) Oates in her 96th year. Loving wife of the late Lewis Oates (1970). Beloved mother of Martin Oates (Monica), Marilyn Newstead (John) and Shirley Thomas (Gabriel). Cherished grandmother of Charlene Armstrong (Gary), Michael Oates (Wai Ying Lee), Lisa Rogers, Matthew Thomas and Andrew Thomas (Erica). Proud great grandmother of Tristan, Danielle, Kylee, Morgan, Nicholas, Dominic, Thomas and Zachary. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Friday morning from 11:30 until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
