Obituary of Mavis Mary Arbuckle

Arbuckle, Mavis Mary In her 89th year, passed away at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, November 13, 2011 Mavis Mary (Queenen) Arbuckle. Beloved wife of the late William Arbuckle (1996). Predeceased by her parents John Queenen (1977), Margaret Queenen (1980), her brother Robert Queenen (1993) and her sister-in-law Maureen Queenen (2010). Dearest aunt to Randi Ziriada and her husband Jack of Amherstburg, Bob Queenen and his wife Kathy of Owen Sound, Terri Trembley and her husband Ed of Balzac, Alberta, Kim Bigelow of Windsor and Jason Queenen and his wife Darnelle of Sauble Beach. Great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mavis served in the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service during the Second World War. She was a member of Al-Anon for many years as well as a member of St. John the Divine Catholic Church; a life-member of the Catholic Women's League and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 593. Mavis will be sadly missed by many good friends especially Rita Pinneau of London. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, with prayers at 3 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation with inurnment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the M.S. Society would be appreciated.
