To Jean's Family, While Jean may have been reluctant to join us at Glendale, it was wonderful to see her friendship with Marie blossom and that she started to join in activities and to get to know others. Through the course of one of our conversations, Jean mentioned that she wanted 'potato' seeds to plant on her husband's grave for Father's Day. She said they had lovely blooms and formed a great bush. I was the one who brought the seed potatoes in for her. When I saw her last week, she told me how great they were looking and that they were growing quite well. At the same time I planted potatoes in my garden. As I watch them grow, flower and produce potatoes I will fondly think of Jean. I do remember too that when I asked her if she was going to eat the potatoes.. she laughed and sais 'No... they're from the cemetery!' Thank you for sharing her with us. Blessings, Maureen
