Oh Scott I remember the first time we met lol. You chased me home from school everyday, you thought it was so fkkn funny. Then we started hanging out. Wait for ur dad to fall asleep and we would steal his truck and drive to the dugout and steal booze when ur mom and sister was not looking lol. You were the Best Scott Im gonna miss you everyday my friend, You couldnt ask for a Better friend in the world. Love you bro! R.I.P. XOXO

I see Scotty's face in my mind, and it is always that same giant "happy to see you" kind of smile you could feel from across a room, a bar, through a crowd of people, that could lift your spirit before he had even uttered a single word... And then the words, always full of humour. A man who could change a sombre, sad, blah kind of day with a joke and a silly anecdote. For no matter who you were these are the graces Scotty blessed us, who were lucky enough to be called his friend. It is an odd feeling, knowing you should be sad, but all you remember of Scotty is fun times and smiles that light rooms, and a laugh that could lift any spirit. My heart goes out to your family, my deepest condolences. It truly saddens my heart, and the world is a lesser place with out you Brother!

Even though Scott and I hadn't crossed paths in many years, some of my fondest (and funniest!) memories from childhood involve Scott. We spent lots of time riding our bikes behind 'Bonnie's Dugout', knocking on doors in neighbouring apartment buildings and running away with laughter, and other general nonsense that 12 year old boys often find themselves involved with. Given the outpouring of sorrow and shock I've encountered on Facebook in regards to Scott's passing, it's quite obvious that he meant a lot to many different people. I'm very sorry to hear of his sudden passing, and to his children, partner, family and close friends, I offer my deepest sympathies.
