Giovanni China It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and nonno, Giovanni (John) China, on Saturday November 5, 2011 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Giuseppina (Politti) China (2010). Loving father of Claudio China and his wife Mary Ann of London, and Michelle (Darren Mack) of East Rochester, New York. Adored nonno to Dominique, Marco, Matthew, and Michael. Predeceased by brothers Francesco (Frank), Angelo, Romolo, and sisters Giuditta and Margherita. Dear brother-in-law to Emma Bernardin and her husband Rodolfo of London, Giuseppe Odorico of Italy, and the late Teresa China and Santo Cristofoli. Zio to Andreina China, Vincenza Belanger and her husband Blair and son Christopher, all of London, and Giorgio Cristofoli of Italy. Giovanni was born in 1920 in Sequals (PN) Italy, son of the late Umberto and Vittoria China. He immigrated to Canada in 1951, starting a new life working for many years in the terrazzo, marble, and tile trade. He was a 60-year member of the London Marconi Club, a member of the Marconi Bocciofila and the London and District Fogolar Furlan.
