Obituary of Johanna Elizabeth Koot

Koot Peacefully at Marian Villa, London, on Tuesday April 1, 2003 Johanna Elizabeth Koot (van Winden) at 97 years of age. Dear mother of Betty and Peter Poel, Leny and Henk Vermue, Joanne and Harry Boere, Sister Mary Joanne OSC, Cathy and Andy Vrolyk, Pauline and Hank Van Leerzem, Joe and Joanne Koot. Mother in law of Dinah Koot and Mable Koot. Grandmother of 42 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband William (1994); her sons John (1988), Tony (1988), Bill (1961), and Wimpie (1941); her daughter Mary Luyben (1993); sons-in-law, Bert Luyben (1984), Jacob de Jeu (1997); grandson Bill Luyben (1979) and great grandson Adam Sothern (2001). Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, with prayers and a special service of remembrance of Mom's Life at 8 o'clock. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday morning, April 4, at 11:30 o'clock, celebrant Father Peter Poel.
