Obituary of Margaret Veronica Doyle

DOYLE, Margaret Veronica (nee McCormick). It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved "Vonnie" in her 88th year, on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Victoria Hospital from complications of cancer. Predeceased by her husband of 35 years, John Joseph "Jack". She will be missed forever by her children Paul Doyle (Janet); Mary Doyle; and Peter Doyle (Cathy). Much loved grandmother to Erin (Ian), Jaclyn, Matthew; Shannon and Jon. Veronica was born in Parkhill, ON, to Dougald and Margaret McCormick. She is survived by sisters Mary Edgar, Helen McCoskey and Angela Verhelle (Bill) and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Rita, Mildred and Eleanor and brother Pete. She will always be remembered for her fun-loving nature and wit. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 3, at St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
