Obituary of Mary McIntyre

McINTYRE, Mary Margaret- Passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Monday April 23, 2012, Mary McIntyre of London in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Louis (1980), her son Neal Joseph (2011) and her son-in-law David Martin (2006). Beloved mother of Roderick (Elizabeth) of London, Eric (Andrea) of Parry Sound, Lois (David) of Brantford and Jay of London. Dearest grandmother of Sean (Debbie), Kyle (Danielle), Mathew and Pamela (Matthew Mooney); great grandmother of Luke and Aurora. Mary loved to sing, dance and entertain. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines for many years. Mary was awarded a Lifetime Membership at the Huff & Puff Seniors Club. She enjoyed being a part of the dance group Jazz Tappers and loved being Director of her singing group the Dixieland Singers. The family would like to thank the caregivers in the Neurology and Palliative Care units at University Hospital and St. Elizabeth Home Health Care for their wonderful care, compassion and kindness. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 377 Oakland Avenue at Dundas Street on Thursday morning April 26, 2012 at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
