Can it be a year already since Karen has left us. I so often think of her when I see her name which I have yet to remove from my internet contact list. As odd as that may sound, it's my way of keeping in touch with her memory. This week I am thinking of you, her family, close acquaintances and good friends who were with her to the end and I pray that you are doing well. I can only imagine what a difficult year it's been and I hope that your memories of her good humour, great laughter and beautiful smile will sustain you in the hard times and keep her always with you in your hearts as you continue your journey without her. Thinking of you, her cousin Adele from Cornwall. xox

Karen will be dearly missed by her cousins here in Cornwall, Ont. She always had such good stories and brought laughter to all our gatherings. As I was also a breast cancer survivor, she would bring up my morale and I tried to keep up hers in the past few years. She always referred to me as her "cousine the artist" as she shared with me some of her passions especially as a writer. How very very sad for all of us... especially all of you, her family, but what an addition she will be to the humour department up in heaven. I pray that she finds her way on wings of angels... I will keep all of you in my prayers and wish you much courage as you go through this most difficult time. luv always, "cousine" Adele
