Obituary of Brenda Mae Schwartz

Peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2024, Brenda Schwartz (nee Danowski) in her 64th year. Sadly missed by her husband John, sisters Caroline Danowski-Burchill and Gail Lovie, brother Ed Danowski (Jan), sister-in-law Kathy Preszcator, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Betty Danowski, brother Paul Danowski and her in-laws John and Margaret Schwartz. She will be missed by her many friends - Kathleen Mudge, Nancy Thomas, Bruce Sworik and Randy Gibbs. 

Brenda was a cancer survivor. The last few years were especially difficult as she was not able to eat or drink and survived on a feeding tube. She still cooked, baked and liked to put a smile on people's faces by sharing what she made. She still had a great sense of humour and loved her cat, Romeo. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch and feeding the chipmunks and squirrels. Brenda was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She worked for many years in greenhouses and knew everything about perennials and other types of plants. She was a kind and generous person. Her favourite thing was cheering for the Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. 

A donation in Brenda's memory to a charitable organization of your choice would be appreciated. As per her wishes, a private ceremony will be held for family and close friends. (www.donohuefuneralhome.ca)
