Obituary of Edward Pollesel
POLLESEL, Edward –
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ed Pollesel on Friday, July 26, 2024, in his 88th year. A resident of London, previously of Rondeau Bay and formerly of Sudbury. Predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Maggie (2012). Cherished father of Julie Clendenning (Jim) of Blenheim, Dina Cimino (Gino) of London, and Stacy Paneras (Jamie) of London. Proud and loving grandfather of Kate Clendenning, Maggie Quennell (Curtis), Ann, Jill and Jed Clendenning, Eric, Andrea (Jeff), Alex, Anthony and Laura Cimino, Emily Henao (Juan), Andrew and Nicholas Paneras. Proud great-grandfather of Noah and Leo Henao. Predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Leonilda (Galet) Pollesel. Son-in-law of the late Andrew and Julia (Duras) Brugos. Predeceased by his infant brother Eddie, and cherished brothers Gino Pollesel (Patricia) (late Shirley) and Bruno Pollesel (late Cely) of Sudbury. Dear brother-in-law of John Brugos (Rosemarie) of Whitby (late Helen and late Evelyn) and late Ernie Brugos (Cecile) of Sudbury. Ed will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St., London on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta St., London on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Parkinson Canada or Chalice Canada would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to recognize and sincerely thank the VON palliative care team and all the staff at Foxhollow Retirement Residence for their wonderful care and compassion.
